Today is Fri the 13th July 2007 – the time is 0653 ! – my flight is at 2pm out of Edinburgh later today! i will be in Botswana on Saturday – its kinda weird that i will probably never set foot in Edinburgh again in my entire lifetime! Might come back to UK sometime, just not Edinburgh though..well, we will see, never say never…

im leaving for Botswana 2mrw – Saturday, posted to Jwaneng Diamond Mine so will prob start work end of this month – got ma degree so now its time to start making some cheese – cheddar! even though it might be peanuts – well that life, it aint been no crystal stair for me so far and i dont expect it to suddenly change now! hehe, oh what the hell – i am living la vida loca – for real! its all good from now on…Holla if you in Bots smtm or just leave me a comment on ma blog if u cant get in touch by email – by the way my company does not allow surfing web based email clients so i cant check my yahoo at work – so if u need my work email just HoLLa…

Hmm, well all three days left for me in the UK, 2 actually coz im leaving Friday morning in Edinburgh and evening in Heathrow – London.

The show has been accused of environmental damage before

The BBC’s motoring programme Top Gear has been accused of causing damage to a pristine wilderness in Botswana. Conservationists have accused the show, hosted by Jeremy Clarkson, of leaving scars across the Makgadikgadi salt pans by driving vehicles across them.They have said the tracks caused by the cars could remain for decades.

A BBC spokeswoman said: “We employed several environmental experts who advised us on where we could and couldn’t go.” Full story @ BBC website
