Electricity in Botswana (2)

EskomSo, confirmed, i said last month that our power supply is hugely dependent on South African utility Eskom – it seems we are about to find out whether i was right or not – if the workers union in RSA get their way and go ahead with a strike then on the 4th of July Botswana is either going to have to do a lot of load shedding or face a possible blackout!

Again, why does the SAPP not helping in this situation, is the infrastructure not there – connections to Zims (maybe this one is useless there is already rationing of electricity in Mugabe’s country) – but there is Namibian link connecting to Gantsi and all this is interconnected to other countries in the SADC region all trading partners…
